The Influence of Technology in the World of Education for High School Students at the Nururl Ikhsan Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on education, including in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, students still lack understanding of how to utilize technology positively and productively to support the learning process. This community service activity aims to provide counseling on the impact of technology on education to high school students at the Nurul Ikhsan Islamic Boarding School. The methods used included material delivery, interactive discussions, and a question-and-answer session. The results showed that this counseling was able to increase students' understanding of the benefits of technology as a learning tool, information access, and digital skills development. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to use technology wisely and responsibly, and in alignment with Islamic boarding school values.
