Abstract

The increasing use of digital technology among students has had a significant impact on their mental health. Unlimited access to social media, information, and digital interactions often leads to psychological distress such as anxiety, stress, and feelings of isolation. The fast-paced digital era demands that students remain connected, often without adequate emotional management skills and self- awareness. This study aims to evaluate student empowerment strategies in addressing mental health challenges arising from the development of digital technology. The study subjects were students of Al- Hikmah Vocational High School in South Jakarta, using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed that many students experienced sleep disturbances, mental fatigue, and social pressure due to digital media.
