Smart and Responsible Leadership of Vocational High School Students in the Era of Society 5.0

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era requires vocational high school students to develop smart and responsible leadership in utilizing digital technology. Digital-based leadership is a crucial asset for facing global challenges and contributing to society. However, challenges remain, including low productive digital literacy, limited digital leadership training, and insufficient emphasis on ethics and social responsibility. The community service program Smart and Responsible Leadership for Vocational Students in the Society 5.0 Era was designed to address these gaps by equipping students with critical thinking, problem-solving, digital literacy, effective communication skills, and strong values of integrity and empathy. This program is expected to produce adaptive, innovative, visionary, and ethical young leaders among vocational students.
