Abstract

The development of teenage lifestyles presents financial management challenges, particularly low financial literacy that encourages consumptive behavior. Key issues include limited knowledge of daily financial management, lack of habit in recording income and expenses, poor understanding of the negative impact of consumptive behavior, and difficulty distinguishing needs from wants. A community service program conducted by students of Universitas Pamulang at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ihsan aimed to address these issues through socialization, training, group discussions, and simple financial recording simulations involving 40 students. The results indicated high enthusiasm and improved understanding of financial literacy to reduce consumptive behavior and promote wiser financial habits.
