Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has made social media an integral part of teenagers’ daily lives. However, uncontrolled use may influence social behavior and encourage unhealthy social interactions. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the impact of social media on teenage social behavior. The methods included counseling sessions, educational lectures, and interactive discussions conducted at school. The materials covered the concept of social media, adolescent characteristics, forms of risky social behavior, and the positive and negative impacts of social media. The results showed increased awareness among students to use social media wisely and responsibly, promoting healthier social interactions aligned with social norms and moral values.
