Abstract

Investment portfolio management is a crucial aspect of long-term financial planning. The combination of mutual funds and stocks is one of the diversification strategies recommended by many capital market practitioners. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of portfolio diversification strategy through the combination of two investment instruments in the context of financial literacy training at SMK Al-Hidayah Ciputat. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, direct counseling, and group discussions. The results of the activity showed that the training was able to increase participants' understanding of the benefits of diversification, investment risk, and the importance of financial planning. Participants showed increased awareness in compiling a balanced portfolio.
