The Role of Leadership in Creating a Positive and Collaborative Learning Environment

Abstract

Leadership plays a crucial role in creating a positive and collaborative learning environment. This study aimed to analyze the role of leadership in fostering a conducive atmosphere, strengthening cooperation, and increasing school community participation. A qualitative approach was applied using observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings indicate that effective leadership—characterized by open communication, role modeling, and motivational ability—creates a comfortable and respectful learning environment. Approximately 88% of respondents stated that the leadership style enhanced collaboration and learning enthusiasm. Collaborative leadership also positively influenced creativity, discipline, and students’ sense of responsibility, making it a key factor in improving educational quality.
