Abstract

Early financial literacy plays a crucial role in shaping students’ economic mindset and behavior. Research and community service activities at Pesantren Nurul Ihsan emphasized basic money management, financial planning, and simple entrepreneurship practices through socialization and educational methods. The program aimed to help students manage money wisely, develop saving habits, and set spending priorities according to their capacity. The results indicated improved understanding, contributing to a thrifty lifestyle, discipline, responsibility, and independence. Therefore, financial literacy education in Islamic boarding schools has a strategic role in developing productive, competitive, and integrity-driven economic character among students in facing modern economic challenges.
