Abstract

Online gambling has become a serious threat to the younger generation, especially in the increasingly accessible digital era. This community service focuses on counseling about the negative effects of online gambling on mental health, social relationships, and prevention strategies. This activity was carried out at the Nurul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School with interactive presentation methods, discussions, and problem solving simulations. The results of counseling showed that online gambling has a negative impact on mental health, such as anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, as well as disrupting social relationships, both with family and peers. In addition, this activity also provides practical guidance for students in recognizing the dangers of online gambling and how to overcome them, such as increasing digital literacy, strengthening spiritual values, and building good communication with parents and teachers.
