Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process — RAS Publisher
RAS Publisher upholds a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to maintain the quality and credibility of its academic publications. Every manuscript submitted undergoes the following evaluation stages:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the editorial team to assess its:
- Alignment with the journal’s scope and aims
- Originality and relevance of the topic
- Basic compliance with formatting and ethical standards
Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria may be returned to the authors without external review.
2. Double Peer Review
All submissions that pass initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field, who assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the discipline
- Methodological soundness
- Contribution and originality
- Academic significance
- Clarity and coherence
- Language quality
3. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editorial board may issue one of the following decisions:
- Accept: The article is accepted as is or with minimal revisions.
- Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript requires substantial improvements before reconsideration. Resubmission does not guarantee acceptance.
- Reject: The manuscript does not meet the standards for publication.
The final decision is made during the editorial board meeting and is communicated to the corresponding author.
4. Ethical Compliance
All submissions are reviewed in accordance with international ethical standards, including COPE guidelines. Manuscripts containing:
- Plagiarism
- Copyright infringement
- Libelous content
- Duplicate or concurrent submissions
will be automatically rejected and may be subject to a publication ban.
5. Publication Frequency
Each journal under RAS Publisher has its own frequency. For example:
- EDIPENA is published biannually (January & July)
- Other journals may follow triannual or quarterly schedules as noted on their respective pages.
Open Access Commitment
RAS Publisher is committed to immediate open access. All articles are freely available online to promote the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
